Objective

I was tasked with creating a visually engaging and intuitive archive page where users can easily browse and access Seaside Sustainability’s past newsletters. The goal was to elevate email content into an evergreen storytelling asset — making organizational updates discoverable long after initial release.

Problem

Before this page existed, past newsletters were not accessible through the website. This created several challenges:

  • No centralized hub for ongoing supporters to revisit previous updates

  • Valuable organizational content became a one-time communication with no long-term visibility

  • Missed opportunity to highlight momentum, transparency, and ongoing impact

Without a structured archive, these updates were effectively lost after initial delivery.

Goals

  • Create a scalable and visually organized hub for all past newsletters.

  • Make each edition feel browsable and inviting — not just functional.

  • Ensure consistent navigation and interaction patterns across all devices.

  • Reinforce Seaside’s voice and timeline of impact through design.

Outcome

  • The Past Newsletters page now functions as an interactive archive that supports:

    • Ongoing stakeholder engagement, offering a way to explore Seaside's story across time

    • Increased visibility of organizational updates, even months after release

    • A branded, user-first archive experience, designed to scale

  • This page strengthens Seaside’s digital storytelling and provides a reusable framework for long-form communications.
