Objective
I was brought on to redesign the Sponsors page of Seaside Sustainability’s website — a critical fundraising and partnership touchpoint. The original page functioned as a basic list of sponsor names and logos, offering little context or incentive for future engagement.
The redesign needed to do more than just display support. It needed to showcase the impact of sponsorship, reflect the vibrancy of Seaside’s work, and invite visitors to become part of the movement. I was given full creative freedom to reimagine the layout, tone, and content hierarchy.
Original Page

Problem
The original Sponsors page lacked structure, emotional resonance, and a clear user journey. It did not reflect the value of sponsorship or the energy of Seaside’s mission, resulting in a low-impact experience for potential and current partners.
Key challenges:
-
Flat, text-heavy layout with no visual hierarchy or flow
-
No context or explanation of how sponsorship supports Seaside’s programs
-
Minimal imagery, despite a rich archive of event and community photos
-
No clear calls to action or pathways for new sponsors to get involved
-
Lack of social proof, impact metrics, or outlined benefits to motivate engagement
-
Weak alignment with Seaside’s “Education through Action” and SEA Change messaging
Goals
-
Highlight the value of sponsorship through storytelling, visuals, and statistics.
-
Bring Seaside’s mission of “Education through Action” into the foreground.
-
Use Seaside’s extensive imagery archive to humanize community projects.
-
Improve user flow and add clear calls to action for prospective sponsors.
Solution
Structured Sponsorship Recognition
-
Replaced the plain sponsor list with a clean, clickable button grid.
-
Each tier is given visual weight, providing a sense of prestige for supporters.
-
Integrated custom CTA buttons (“Sponsor this Program”) under each section to drive conversions.

Impact-Driven Program Highlights
I designed visual blocks for each of Seaside’s major initiatives, including:
-
Marine Science & Education
-
Coastal Cleanups
-
Clean Coast Coalition
-
Green Scholars
-
Clean & Green Boater’s Guide
-
Internship Program Youth Leadership Development
-
Advisor Program
-
Volunteer Program
-
Reclaiming the Sea from Marine Debris
Each block includes:
-
A photo or icon from the field
-
A short summary of the project’s purpose
-
A clear CTA for sponsorship involvement

Real-World Impact Metrics
-
Added a “Seaside’s Impact” section featuring key stats (e.g., lbs of waste collected, students reached).
-
This quantified value reinforces the real-world outcomes made possible through sponsorship.

Testimonials and Social Proof
-
Introduced testimonial quotes from past sponsors or partners to build trust.
-
Added a dedicated “Sponsorship Benefits” grid to clearly outline ROI for potential donors.

Target Audience & PR Reach
-
Designed an audience breakdown section to clarify who sponsors reach (e.g., students, policymakers, families).
-
Integrated social media and PR icons to highlight Seaside’s communication channels and visibility.

Impact Summary
Element | Original Page | Redesigned Page |
|---|---|---|

Metrics & Proof | Missing | Stats + testimonials + benefits |
Call to Action | None | “Sponsor this Program” CTAs |
Impact Connection | Absent | Programs visually linked to sponsors |
Sponsor Recognition | Undifferentiated | Tiered + clickable sections |
Structure | One long list | Modular, scrollable layout |
Visual Design | Sparse, plain | Branded, colorful, image-driven |
Element | Original Page | Redesigned Page |
|---|---|---|
Audience Messaging | Not included | Clearly defined supporter reach |
Outcome
-
Sponsors now see their direct impact — visually and narratively.
-
The page communicates clear value for donors and invites engagement.
-
It now functions as both an informational hub and a conversion funnel.
-
The modular approach allows for easy scalability across other outreach or donor pages.
